Key Difference Between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice

I feel like this doesn’t get brought up much, but I know it’s running through the mind of every active pro-choicer out there. Pro-life people like to yell at pro-choice people when pro-choice people tell pro-life people not to control them. The pro-life people make stupid arguments about how pro-choice people are also telling people what to do. But they’re not. That’s the whole goddamn point of pro-choice. Pro-life people, no matter how much they deny it, are telling people what to do with their own body parts. Pro-choice people are saying “Hey, here’s this one option you can consider, but if you don’t want an abortion that’s fine and here’s a doctor you can go see for prenatal care.” THERE IS A GIGANTIC DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO THINGS. If you can’t see it, you need to reevaluate your life. A pro-choice person says “You have control over your own body.” A pro-life person says “I have/God has/your fetus has control over your body.” One of these things supports personal autonomy and freedom, and the other doesn’t. It’s not that hard, people.
