It’s really weird to just sit around and open presents for no reason other than I’m getting married in 4.5 months. And to think that most of the people who were there will probably also give us wedding presents. Man, getting married is an awesome way to get all new stuff.

Also we played some really, really gendered games (one was all about fashion and the other was all about laundry), but I sat there and played along because I don’t want to freak out my fiance’s family with a feminist rant. Many of whom I just met yesterday. They’ll figure it out when we hyphenate my already incredibly long name.

It was a lot of fun though. They got me an awesome teapot-shaped cake which I’ll post a picture of as soon as I have one. It was amazing and also delicious.
