Interesting FYI: You can download or create any plugins you want to for GIMP. I downloaded the 2.8 version, and guess what? That skin thing IS NOT IN THERE! So, the person who created that blog post also added(or made) a special plugin and then blamed it on the gimp team. Just so you know, it's manufactured evil, probably with an agenda. Spread the word!
